Job Location :- Indore (Madhya Pradesh)

RRCAT Recruitment 2022 Salary :-

  • Scientific Assistant/ C Level-7 of Pay Matrix, Initial Pay: 44,900/- plus other allowances as admissible
  • Scientific Assistant/ B Level-6 of Pay Matrix, Initial Pay: 35,400/- plus other allowances as admissible
  • Technician/ C Level-4 of Pay Matrix, Initial Pay: 25,500/- plus other allowances as admissible
  • Technician/ B Level-3 of Pay Matrix, Initial Pay: 21,700/- plus other allowances as admissible

Qualification :-

Scientific Assistant/C (Automobile Engineering) :

  • Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Engg. (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC) with minimum 60% marks. Experience required: Minimum cumulative 4 years practical relevant experience in Diesel and petrol four wheeler vehicles maintenance experience in automobile manufacturing industry/ authorized or registered reputed garages after obtaining requisite qualification.

Scientific Assistant/C (Mechatronics) :

  • Diploma in Mechatronics with minimum 60% marks (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC). Experience required: Minimum 4 years cumulative Practical relevant experience in mechanical electronic aspects of CNC machine tools maintenance in manufacturing / machine maintenance industry/ tool room etc. after obtaining requisite qualification

Scientific Assistant/C (Electrical) :

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC) with an aggregate of 60% marks. Experience required: Minimum 4 years’ experience in installation / upkeep of lifts/elevators after obtaining requisite qualification.

Scientific Assistant/C (Electronics / Electrical) :

  • Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Electrical and Electronics Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC) with an aggregate of 60% marks. Experience required :Minimum 4 years’ experience in installation / upkeep of electronic protection system / automation / SCADA systems for substations after obtaining requisite qualification

Scientific Assistant/B (Biology) :

  • B. Sc. In Biological Science (with Botany/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry as one of the subject) with 60% marks

Scientific Assistant/B (Electrical) :

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC) with an aggregate of 60% marks.

Scientific Assistant/B (Electronics) :

  • Diploma in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC) with an aggregate of 60% marks.

Scientific Assistant/B (Physics) :

  • B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks (Physics as principal and Mathematics / Chemistry / Statistics / Electronics / Computer Science as subsidiary subjects).

Scientific Assistant/B (Horticulture) :

  • B.Sc. with minimum 60% marks (Physics as principal and Mathe B.Sc. in Horticulture/Agriculture with a minimum of 60% marks

Scientific Assistant/B (Civil) :

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC) with an aggregate of 60% marks.

Scientific Assistant/B (Animal Husbandry / Zoology):

  • Full time Bachelor of Science degree in Animal husbandry /Animal genetics and breeding/Zoology with minimum 60% marks.

Scientific Assistant/B (Biotechnology/Zoology/Life sciences Microbiology/Biochemistry) :

  • Full time Bachelor of Science (Hons/3years) degree in Biotechnology/Zoology/Life sciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry as major subject with minimum 60% marks.

Scientific Assistant/C (Guest House supervisor):

  • B.Sc. in Hotel Management/Administration & Catering Services/Technology with an aggregate of 60% marks from Institution recognized by NCHMCT/Government of India/AICTE/ UGC. OR Diploma in Hotel Management/Administration & Catering Services/Technology (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC) with an aggregate of 60% marks from Institution recognized by NCHMCT/Government of India/AICTE/ UGC. Experience required :Minimum 4 years’ hands-on working experience at the supervisory level of Large Guest House/ Hotel operations (at least 20 or more rooms property with allied services) after obtaining requisite qualification.

Technician/C (Wireman) :

  • SSC (with Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Wireman trade. Experience required: Four year’s relevant experience after obtaining requisite qualification.

Technician/C (Computer Network) :

  • SSC (with Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Computer Network trade. Experience required: Four year’s relevant experience after obtaining requisite qualification.

Technician/C (Millwright) :

  • SSC (with Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Millwright trade Experience required: Four year’s relevant experience after obtaining requisite qualification

Technician/C [Draftsman (Electrical)] :

  • SSC (with Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Draftsman (Electrical) trade. Experience required :Four year’s relevant experience after obtaining requisite qualification.

Technician/C [Electrical] :

  • SSC (with Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Electrical trade. Experience required :Four year’s relevant experience after obtaining requisite qualification

Technician/B [Fitter] :

  • SSC (with Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Fitter trade

Technician/B [Optical Science] :

  • SSC (with Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Optical Science trade

Technician/B [Physiotherapy] :

  • SSC (with Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Physiotherapy trade

Technician/B [Glass Blowing] :

  • SSC (with Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate of not less than one year duration by the Competent Authority in the trade of Glass Blowing.

Technician/B [Carpenter] :

  • SSC (with Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Carpenter trade

Age Limit For RRCAT Recruitment 2022 :-

  • Scientific Assistant/C – Minimum – 18 Years, Maximum – UR : 30 Years, SC/ST : 35 Years, OBC – 33 Years
  • Scientific Assistant/B (Physics) – Minimum – 18 Years, Maximum – UR : 30 Years, SC/ST : 35 Years, OBC – 33 Years
  • Technician/B [Fitter] – Minimum – 18 Years, Maximum UR/EWS- 25 Years, OBC- 28 Years, SC/ST- 30 Years,

Selection Process :-

  • Selection Process for B-1 to B-12: 1. Written examination will be conducted and will comprise of objective (multiple) type questions. There will be negative marking for the written examination for incorrect answers. The syllabus for the written examination will be based on subjects at Diploma/B.Sc. level, as the case may be. 2. Candidates in the ratio of 1:5 will be short-listed for interview which will be held on the following day. 3. Final selection and ranking will be on the basis of the performance of the candidates in interview. No weightage will be given for marks scored in the written examination. 4. The decision of RRCAT in this regard will be final.
  • Selection Process for B-13 : In case of receipt of large number of applications a written examination will be conducted to shortlist the candidates on following pattern. Candidates in the ratio of 1:5 will be short-listed for interview which will be held on the following day. Final selection and ranking will be on the basis of the performance of the candidates in interview. No weightage will be given for marks scored in the written examination. The decision of RRCAT in this regard will be final.
General Awareness / Communication Skills / Computer Knowledge / Reasoning /Numerical Aptitude 1 Hour
Proficiency Test in Hindi and English 30 Minute
Specialized Subject (Hotel Management / catering /Hospitality) 1 Hour
  • Selection Process for C-1 to C-10 : The selection process will consist of tests in 3 stages. (Stage 1 & 2 – Written Test and Stage 3 – Trade / Skills Test).
